PROMOTIONAL VIDEOS FOR BUSINESS CAN HELP COMPANIES EASE BACK INTO OPERATIONS FOLLOWING THE LOCKDOWNS

This was the case with one of our clients, Soldier City CrossFit in St. Cloud, Florida. To generate awareness and excitement, they tapped us to create 30-second promotional videos for business reopening. Check out this video to see what we did.

Like all other fitness centers and gyms, the Soldier City team was affected by the COVID-19 lockdowns. With the reopening, it was crucial to get people excited about going back.

The 30-second video showed snippets of the team getting ready—cleaning the equipment and setting up. The fast cuts and the heart-pumping music set the mood and created a sense of anticipation.

Promotional videos are an effective way to drive customer engagement. They get the message across in a way that allows companies to show their brand personality. This is especially important in these challenging times. Strengthening customer relationships is the key to survival.

This is not our first collaboration with Soldier City CrossFit. A couple of years ago, we also produced two promotional videos for them. One was a two-minute video that focused on why their clients loved going to the gym to train. The second one was a minute-long video targeting new clients. For both videos, we focused on the inclusive experience and the familial bond. This is to debunk the common misconception that CrossFit gyms are intimidating.

CREATING A PROMOTIONAL VIDEO: A QUICK GUIDE

A good promotional video should spark conversation. It should elicit emotions. It should excite, educate, or entertain. It also should not be too obvious on the selling part. Otherwise, it is just going to be another video ad.

The first step in the process of creating a promotional video is determining your goals. What do you want to achieve? Knowing the answer will help you decide the creative direction you will take. What kind of content will you create? What will be the tone of the narrative? What video format do you want?

The next step would be to set your parameters. What is your budget? What is the maximum length of the video? These are factors you should consider even before writing a script. This will guide your video production team too.

Once these are all finalized, we can proceed to the technical steps. These include, among others, scriptwriting, pre-production, actual shoot, and post-production.

With our team, the partnership does not end after the video is produced. We also help our clients with video SEO. After all, practically all videos we create go online. And knowing how to maximize traction is just as important as telling a good story.
